Important Notice

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before list creation or booking. By using the StayHive platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the marketplace.

1. Agreement of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StayHive governing your access to and use of our stay booking system. Your registration of an account or booking transaction signals complete assent to these conditions.

2. Guest Regulations & Stays

Guests booking stays via StayHive must adhere to the following rules:

Accurate Profile Details: You must register with an authentic name, email, and mobile phone number for notification alerts.
Occupancy Limits: The total count of visitors occupying a stay must not exceed the maximum guest limit configured on the listing.
House Rules: Guests are required to respect localized rules designated by the Host (e.g. pet parameters, smoke policies, quiet hours).

3. Host Listings & Account Obligations

Hosts offering villas or spaces on StayHive agree to:

Provide precise property details, amenities list, pricing, and coordinates.
Ensure the stay matches photographs and listed state.
Fulfill host onboarding requirements and verify identification credentials on requests.

4. Fees, Cancellations & Taxes

Payment routing and refund details:

Service Fees: StayHive charges a service fee rate to guests to cover payment merchant costs and maintenance. This is detailed at check-out.
Cancellations: Host cancellation policies (e.g. flexible, moderate, strict) govern refunds. Service fees are non-refundable if the cancellation is requested by a guest after booking.
Secure Merchant: Transactions are encrypted and processed by Paystack or Moolre. Payment errors must be flagged within 48 hours for review.

5. Limitation of Liability

StayHive operates as a booking marketplace connecting hosts and guests. We are not responsible for physical property damage, personal injuries sustained during a stay, host cancellations, or payment network failures. Stays are occupied entirely at the user's own risk.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolutions

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms or booking transactions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Accra, Ghana.
